Oracle Identity Manager 11g R2 PS2 & SOA Installation & Configuration

Steps:

Steps: Oracle Database Installation
IAM 11.1.2.2.0 RCU Installation
WebLogic 10.3.6 Installation
WebLogic 10.3.6 Configuration
SOA 11.1.1.7.0 Installation (Similar Version)
SOA 11.1.1.7.0 Configuration (Similar Version)

Navigate to just above the SOAPATCH directory (Under which all other patches are kept) and run the command :
opatch napply SOAPATCH -oh
Example - opatch.bat napply SOAPATCH -oh C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_SOA1\
Note: SOA Mandatory Patches for OIM 11g R2 PS2 (which is bundled by default in IAM Installer Disk1)

OIM 11gR2 PS2 installation (Similar Version)
OIM 11gR2 PS2 Configuration (Similar Version)

Now, Restart Weblogic Admin server, SOA Managed Server.

Start OIM & SOA services

Then access below URL's and login using "xelsysadm" account with password provided at the time of configuration.
http://<>:14000/sysadmin
http://<>:14000/identity

For what I see, there's not too many supportive documentations out there that will demonstrate how provision AD group membership with the ICF connector using OpenIDM. The use of the special ldapGroups attribute is not explained anywhere in the Integrators guides to to the date of this blog. This quick blog identifies the tasks required to provision AD group membership from OpenIDM to AD using the LDAP ICF connector. However this doesn't really explain what ldapGroups actually does and there's no real worked example of how to go from an Assignment to ldapGroups to an assigned group in AD. I wrote up a wiki article for my own reference: AD group memberships automatically to users This is just my view, others may disagree, but I think the implementation experience could be improved with some more documentation and a more detailed example here.
