ORA-02095: specified initialization parameter cannot be modified
After identifying that the registered control files are incorrect (after receiving the ORA-00205: error in identifying control file, check alert log for more info error) though after executing the system set control files, I would receive and ORA-02095: specified initialization parameter cannot be modified error
ORA-02095: specified initialization parameter cannot be modified
When trying to initiate the DB instance, I would receive the following error:
ERROR at line 1: ORA-02095: specified initialization parameter cannot be modified
I would run the 'SQL show parameter control_files
NAME TYPE VALUE
------------------------------------ ----------- ------------------------------
control_files string /home/oracle/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/dbs/ora_control1, /home/oracle/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/dbs/ora_control2
You can see that the control_files are not pointing to the correct location
Actual locations
/home/oracle/app/oracle/oradata/orcl/control01.ctl
/home/oracle/app/oracle/flash_recovery_area/orcl/control02.ctl
ls -la /home/oracle/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/dbs/ora_control1
/home/oracle/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/dbs/ora_control2
So I tried altering the control files...
ALTER SYSTEM SET control_files='/home/oracle/app/oracle/oradata/orcl/control01.ctl','/home/oracle/app/oracle/flash_recovery_area/orcl/control02.ctl'
ALTER SYSTEM SET control_files='/home/oracle/app/oracle/oradata/orcl/control01.ctl'
-- Now i'm getting the following error
SQL ALTER SYSTEM SET control_files='/home/oracle/app/oracle/oradata/orcl/control01.ctl','/home/oracle/app/oracle/flash_recovery_area/orcl/control02.ctl'
2 ;
ALTER SYSTEM SET control_files='/home/oracle/app/oracle/oradata/orcl/control01.ctl','/home/oracle/app/oracle/flash_recovery_area/orcl/control02.ctl'
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-02095: specified initialization parameter cannot be modified
So I tried this...
ALTER SYSTEM SET control_files='/home/oracle/app/oracle/oradata/orcl/control01.ctl','/home/oracle/app/oracle/flash_recovery_area/orcl/control02.ctl' scope=spfile;
Then this...
ALTER SYSTEM SET control_files='/home/oracle/app/oracle/oradata/orcl/control01.ctl' scope=spfile;
Still getting..
ERROR at line 1: ORA-02095: specified initialization parameter cannot be modified
SOLUTION
I was able to create a new SPFILE from the PFILE, which allowed me to initiate the startup
CREATE SPFILE FROM PFILE='/home/oracle/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/dbs/initorcl11gR2.ora';
Then I was able to connect...
[oracle@localhost dbs]$ sqlplus sys/Password1@localhost.localdomain:1521/ORCL as sysdba

The WeMos D1 is a ESP8266 WiFi based board is an extension to the current out-of-the-box library that comes with the Arduino installation. Because of this, you need to import in the libraries as well as acknowledging the specific board. This process is highly confusion with a number of different individuals talking about a number of different ways to integrate.

For what I see, there's not too many supportive documentations out there that will demonstrate how provision AD group membership with the ICF connector using OpenIDM. The use of the special ldapGroups attribute is not explained anywhere in the Integrators guides to to the date of this blog. This quick blog identifies the tasks required to provision AD group membership from OpenIDM to AD using the LDAP ICF connector. However this doesn't really explain what ldapGroups actually does and there's no real worked example of how to go from an Assignment to ldapGroups to an assigned group in AD. I wrote up a wiki article for my own reference: AD group memberships automatically to users This is just my view, others may disagree, but I think the implementation experience could be improved with some more documentation and a more detailed example here.

In the past, the similar error occurred though for the Oracle Identity Management solution. invalidcredentialexception remote framework key is invalid Because they all share the ICF connector framework, the error/solution would be the same.
