One thing I do admire about OIM is the GUI interfaces within em on the ranking order of each plugin. The example below will show you how to remove the unwanted process task
The metadata store (MDS) used as a shared repository for managing and reusing shared resources like XML's WSDL, XSD etc. In order to manage the MDS repository, you must perform this by using the WLST command. The best approach is to export out the MDS data then delete the contents and re-import however below is the WLST command to delete the contents from MDS.
Navigate to the ${ORACLE_HOME}/oracle_common/common/bin directory and execute the wlst.sh command. Once you've done that, you can connect to the WLS instance by running the following command, connect('weblogic','Password1','t3://localhost.localdomain:7001'). Obviously this is connect(WLS admin username,WLS admin password, admin URL). Once you're connected.
You can run the deleteMetadata() command to remove specific MDS. The application is the OIM Metadata (It will probably be the same name though if it's not, you'll be able to see the MDS application within the WLS admin console. The server is the managed server instance and the docs is the location of the xml of which you want to remove. The path can be located within the EM if you dont wish to export out the MDS via UI.
Postprocess,-2147483648,PostProcessingInitiation,/metadata/iam-features-request/event-definition/EventHandlers.xml,true
Postprocess,1000,ReconUserLoginHandler,/metadata/iam-features-reconciliation/event-definition/EventHandlers.xml,true
Postprocess,1000,DUMMYEventHandler,/db/DUMMYPostProcEventHandler.xml,false
Postprocess,1020,ReconUserPasswordHandler,/metadata/iam-features-reconciliation/event-definition/EventHandlers.xml,true
So the command to delete the OIM Metadata is as follows:
deleteMetadata(application='OIMMetadata',server='oim_server1',docs='/db/DUMMYPostProcEventHandler.xml')
The contents will be as follows:
Executing operation: deleteMetadata.
Operation "deleteMetadata" completed. Summary of "deleteMetadata" operation is:
1 documents successfully deleted.
List of documents successfully deleted
:
/db/DUMMYPostProcEventHandler.xml
wls:/OIM11gR2PS2_domain/serverConfig>

For what I see, there's not too many supportive documentations out there that will demonstrate how provision AD group membership with the ICF connector using OpenIDM. The use of the special ldapGroups attribute is not explained anywhere in the Integrators guides to to the date of this blog. This quick blog identifies the tasks required to provision AD group membership from OpenIDM to AD using the LDAP ICF connector. However this doesn't really explain what ldapGroups actually does and there's no real worked example of how to go from an Assignment to ldapGroups to an assigned group in AD. I wrote up a wiki article for my own reference: AD group memberships automatically to users This is just my view, others may disagree, but I think the implementation experience could be improved with some more documentation and a more detailed example here.
